ManyaGuide How to check UNEB results by SMS (PLE, UCE, UACE)
SMS UCE space index number to 6600 (e.g. UCE U0001/001). Use PLE or UACE for those exams.
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) releases results for PLE (Primary), UCE (Senior Four) and UACE (Senior Six). You can check results on any phone by SMS – no internet needed.
How to check UNEB results by SMS
Open your SMS app and send to 6600 (works on MTN and Airtel):
| Exam | Type this | Example |
|---|---|---|
| PLE | PLE space index number |
PLE 001234/001 |
| UCE (S.4) | UCE space index number |
UCE U0001/001 |
| UACE (S.6) | UACE space index number |
UACE U0001/501 |
Send to 6600. You will receive the results by SMS. Each SMS is charged (about UGX 500 – 1,000).
Tip: type the index number exactly as on the registration slip, including the slash (/). One mistake gives an "invalid" reply but you are still charged.
Other ways to get results
- From the school – schools download results from the UNEB portal.
- On the UNEB website uneb.ac.ug when the online portal is opened.
